Kinetics and nucleation dynamics in ion-seeded atomic clusters

The time-dependent kinetics of formation and evolution nanosize atomic clusters is investigated illustrated with the nucleation dynamics ion-seed ${\mathrm{Ar}}_{n}{\mathrm{H}}^{+}$ particles. rates growth degradation Ar-atomic shells around seed ion are inferred from molecular (MD) simulations. Simulations cluster have been performed accurate quantum-mechanical binary interaction potentials. Both nonequilibrium equilibrium at different temperature densities gas ions. Formation ${\mathrm{Ar}}_{n\ensuremath{\le}40}$ main mechanism which regulates nanocluster diffusive fluctuations size distribution. time intrinsic energy distributions analyzed nonthermal, quasiequilibrium, thermal stages formation. We determined self-consistent model parameters for temporal found coefficients describing distribution nanoclusters. Nucleation haze nanodust particles in astrophysical atmospheric ionized gases discussed.
